Both main dragons, Mysticheart9 and Shyam Frill are hatchlings with wings in this story. I was extremely bored, and it is as long as my boredom can last.
Just hunting prey, he was enjoying his day and his hunt of survival the best he could.
Soon as he was done, he took a walk around the forest as he always did, and, while walking, saw a gorgeous light green dragon with glowing orange wings. Part of her head was the same color, adding to the beauty and making her wings seem just right.
He stopped to look at her. Unlike the frilled dragons, she seemed...Well...Different, in a way. His kind was all the same boring thing.
He sighed: He knew he didn't stand a chance with her, because she'd probably want a dragon more exotic than him.
A few days later, she was the one to notice him first. He was hunting at the time, unable to notice her as he was so focused on looking for his prey. Unlike his species/kind, he had blue eyes. Most had green. So usually his prey was confused on whether he was an odd Frilled dragon or if he was really a Magi in disguise. It was kind of enchanting.
She was owned by Mystic, but, as long as the wild dragon didn't know, she might have a chance with him.
Once he was done hunting, she sneaked up on him, then, deciding it wouldn't be good to pounce on him, said "Hello."
He jumped back, but was thankful it was her.
"Hey." He somehow managed to say.
Soon, it got easier to talk to her as the conversation went on.
Then it became nighttime. She knew she had to go home, otherwise her owner would look for both of them.
"I...I have to go. Could I see you tomorrow?" She asked.
"Sure. No problem." He said. He wanted to go with, but it's best to give her space.
So she left.
He walked in the direction, giving her space, hoping she got home safely. There was things that could hurt her in this forest, and he hoped they would leave her alone.
A vampire dragon was spying on the Summer Dragon too. It wondered why in the world it wanted the wild frill when she was able to get a wild gold if she wanted. It didn't matter, because he was going to turn her into a vampire, tonight or some other night she came here.
He was ready to strike at any minute. Just when she got into the correct place in order for him to get her neck facing him.
Soon, she was in that spot, and he did his strike, making her land with her neck facing him--in his favor.
Shyam frill knew what that scary dragon, with a cross for its tail, horns on its head, white face that makes it look like a skull, along with a white stomach and marks on its back, with the rest being black and his wings being red, along with a few marks, was. It was a male Vampire dragon. And he knew what it would do if he didn't do what he was about to do.
Though afraid, he yelled to the dragon to come over there, in plain sight.
The Vampire dragon, still holding her down, turned to see the frilled dragon. He looked to see if there was any other dragon that could have said that, like a guardian dragon, perhaps.
There was none.
There was only the frilled hatchling there.
"And what if I don't? What will you do?" He said. He knew the frilled dragons usually hid in fear.
He didn't know. He'd fight him if he had to, but he wasn't a great fighter.
"Just what I thought. I admit, you are braver than the rest of your kind. You proved that by showing your face to me. However, that doesn't change the fact that it would be just plain stupid to fight me." The vampire dragon said.
"That may be so, but if she is your target, I will anyway." He said.
The vampire smiled, only because this one was more loyal than the rest of his kind.
"Well, I'm going to get her at some point. Don't make the mistake of becoming my next meal, only to have your efforts wasted tomorrow." He said. He had a way to choose which ones became Vampire and what ones died. He wouldn't really be his next meal, but he was sure another vampire was more than willing to bite him.
She couldn't look, but had an idea what the frilled one looked like now. Brave, determined, and full of willpower.
She couldn't say that if she was thinking of what she looked like, however. She was terrified.
She felt the claws tighten around her. Her heart started to beat faster due to her panic.
She felt his claws dig deep in. It was painful that she would've screamed if she could. She couldn't, though--the loudest she could get out due to fright, for whatever reason, was a wimpier.
When he was sure she couldn't move, he got off of her, and put her on his back. He was carrying a bag for prey, and she fell in it. It closed after she fell in. It was open enough to still let air in, though.
The frilled hatchling jumped onto the trees, and he kept his eyes on him while he did that.
"You know you'll lose if you try, right?" He said.
"Maybe I will, or maybe I wont." the frilled hatchling said.
"What do you mean by that?" He asked, looking at him right in the eyes. His eyes were blue, unlike all the other frilled ones.
Now he knew! That frilled dragon was actually a Magi!
(That isn't correct, actually.)
"You have magic, don't you?" He asked.
He decided to play along. "Maybe I do, maybe I don't."
She would've laughed if she could. But she couldn't do that due to being paralyzed. The vampire actually thought he was a magi. That's the funniest thought she'd know of!
"But if I am, why would I disguise as a frill dragon?" He asked.
"Erm...Um..." The vampire dragon closed his eyes to try to think why.
Then he got down while he was still thinking, and silently picked her up from the bag somehow without being noticed, then sneaked away.
He set her down outside the woods, near a river but not right by it, just in case she would fall into the river if they were right by it.
"Thank you for saving me back there." She said, and smiled. Her eyes gleamed in the moonlight.
"No problem. Even an easily scared cat wouldn't leave its friend to die." He said. He wasn't sure if it came out right.
"You're right. But still, you were rather brave there...And could you come a bit closer?" She asked.
He was already holding her, but brought her closer. Then...
They kissed!
Aw...
Once the kiss was done, he was speechless.
And so was she.
He didn't know how to help her get out of paralyzes, so he took her back to where she said her home was, and came back every day to see if she was recovering well.
She was, but she didn't say why.
She didn't have to.
One day, when her recovery was done, Shyam Frill was still going to visit, but got lost.
He looked around. He didn't know where he was.
Then...He got pounced on!
He flipped the the person who pounced on him off, and found it was Mystic!
She lead him back to her, and he decided to stay so he wouldn't get lost again, though I'm not sure if he likes Mystic or not...
The end.
